Writers at Barnard: Miranda Field and Weike Wang

Miranda Field is the author of Swallow and Imaginary Royalty. Her work appears in numerous journals and several anthologies, including Legitimate Dangers: American Poets of the New Century, Not for Mothers Only, and Thirty Years of the Best of the Pushcart Prize. She has received a Katherine Bakeless Nason Literary Publication Award, a Discovery/The Nation Award, and a Pushcart Prize, as well as a John Ciardi Scholarship and a Teaching Fellowship at Bread Loaf Writers Conference. Weike Wang (above) is the author of Chemistry. Her work has appeared in Glimmer Train, Ploughshares, Alaska Quarterly Review, Kenyon Review, and The New Yorker, among other publications. She is the recipient of the 2018 Pen Hemingway Award, a Whiting Award and a National Book Foundation 5 Under 35 Award.
