2020-21 Courses
Overview
We are excited to introduce our department’s new curriculum for the Academic Year 2020-21. Students should note that this curriculum includes courses offered over three-semesters (including Summer A), as well as several new immersive classes that will be offered over a 7-week period.
Please note that this schedule is subject to change, and students are encouraged not only to revisit this page but also to confirm the current semester's course listings in the "English @Barnard" section of the Directory of Classes.
Our departmental immersive courses will cover a semester’s worth of material in a shorter period of time and will meet for twice as many hours per week, allowing students to take fewer courses at the same time and a more sustained focus on course content.
English majors should contact their major advisor with any questions. Non-English majors, or those thinking of declaring an English major, should contact english@barnard.edu.
